Please be the neighbours’ dog… please be the neighbours’ dog… Crazy the thoughts that go through the exhausted parental mind. This was the thought, prayer, desperate plea that I actually verbalised a few minutes ago, David having just settled Bub. The sound was a weird half-cry, half-whine. And yes, it turned out to be the neighbours’ dog. Thank You Jesus.
